OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES (OER)
Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning, teaching and research materials in any format and medium that reside in the public domain or are under an open license, that permit the public the rights to access, re-use, re-purpose, adapt and redistribute educational materials.
Openly Available Sources Integrated Search (OASIS) is a search tool that aims to make the discovery of open content easier. OASIS currently searches open content from 115 different sources and contains 440,380 records.

OPEN LIBRARY TEXTBOOK NURSING
Textbooks in the Open Textbook Library are considered open because they are free to use and distribute, and are licensed to be freely adapted or changed with proper attribution.

OER nursing textbooks and virtual simulations are collaboratively developed by faculty based on the WTCS State Nursing curriculum and the current NCLEX-RN Test Plan. Textbooks undergo national peer review by faculty, deans, industry members, and nursing students to ensure the content is accurate and relevant, written in clear language for pre-licensure nursing students, and based on current, evidence-based practices.

EIFL Negotiated APC
In partnership with the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Ghana (CARLIGH), EIFL has negotiated a number of agreements with publishers that secure waived or discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs). This is meant to benefit corresponding authors from CARLIGH institutions; including the Methodist University Ghana, to publish their articles in open access.
Below is the link to a full list of eligible journals under these agreements. This list will be updated twice a year. Details of negotiated agreements, including how to claim the waivers or discounts with each publisher is found on the page: https://eifl.net/apcs/
